Congratulations to all of the newest holders of the prestigious NCIDQ Certification!  To see the list of the most recent interior design professionals to receive their NCIDQ designation, click the button below.

It is important to understand that the regulation of interior design varies across North America. CIDQ strongly encourages interior design practitioners to be fully knowledgeable and in compliance with the requirements of the jurisdiction (states and provinces) in which they practice. It is important to check your jurisdictional requirements and register with your jurisdictional regulatory body to avoid the risk of violating regulations that may be subject to penalties. Now that you are NCIDQ Certified, take the next step to become certified, registered, or licensed within your jurisdiction to practice legally and help elevate and advocate for the profession. Find information on your specific state regulatory board or provincial regulatory body.

An Ambassador for the NCIDQ Exam is a practitioner, educator, or advocate who is committed to promoting the value of the NCIDQ Exam and NCIDQ Certification. Ambassadors are charged with remaining up to date on the latest news on the NCIDQ Exam and are on the front line of the industry to educate, mentor, and engage various audiences on the importance of the NCIDQ Certification. New NCIDQ Certificate holders have the most recent knowledge to share. Consider joining our Ambassador program and begin giving back to the industry.

Current opportunities available to new NCIDQ Certificate Holders from CIDQ's allied interior design organizations, include:

American Society of Interior Designers (ASID):  First year of professional membership dues waived for current ASID members who pass the NCIDQ.

International Interior Design Association (IIDA):  Opportunity to apply for financial assistance upon passing all three parts of the NCIDQ Exam.

Interior Designers Canada (IDC):  Offers a variety of scholarships and bursaries, including the Wayne Thomson Bursary which is awarded to one or more candidates per year, specifically to NCIDQ Exam candidates.
