Steps to Pay & Schedule

Pay your exam fee(s) through your MyNCIDQ Account. -

Schedule your exam(s) with Prometric through your MyNCIDQ Account -

Receive a confirmation email from Prometric with your appointment details (section, date, time, location).
📝 Tip: You can verify your appointment details anytime in your MyNCIDQ Account.
Please note, candidates must pay the exam fee during the scheduling period in which they plan to test. Fees are non-transferable to future exams.

You can take your NCIDQ Exam at a location that works for you:
Prometric Test Centers
All exam sections (IDFX, IDPX, IDIX) offered worldwide.
Remote Proctoring
Take your exam from a secure, convenient location such as your home
Exam Payment & Policy
Payment
Once your application is approved, pay the exam fee during the payment/scheduling period for the exam administration in which you plan to test.
Rescheduling Policy
31+ days before exam: Free to reschedule
5–30 days before exam: $30 fee (payable to Prometric)
Less than 5 days before: Cannot reschedule
Note: Exams may not be moved to a future exam administration.
Cancellation Policy
$100 cancellation fee applies to exams canceled up to 5 days before the scheduled date.
No cancellations allowed fewer than 5 days before the appointment.
Retake Policy
If you do not pass an exam section on your first attempt, here’s what you need to know:
- You may retake a failed exam section during a future administration (within your eligibility period).
- You cannot take the same exam section more than once during the same administration.
If you do not pass all required exam sections within your eligibility period:
- All passing scores will be voided.
- You must restart the application and exam process, meeting the current eligibility requirements in place at that time.
