Now Accepting Applications

for the 2021 CIDQ Board of Directors

CIDQ is seeking talented and passionate leaders to apply for positions on its 2021 Board of Directors.  Our Board is committed to protecting the public health, safety, and welfare through NCIDQ Certification.  We are not able to accomplish this without a strong governing body and the engagement of our volunteers.

This year, the Nominating Committee is looking for eligible candidates to fill the President-Elect position, as well as two Director positions and one Public Member position for the 2021 Board of Directors.  If you are devoted to the mission of CIDQ and are ready to take the next step to advancing the leadership of our organization, please complete the application found below and submit it to Kimberly Woods (kwoods@cidq.org) by June 12,2020.

Diversity is key to ensuring a strong leadership.  The Nominating Committee will be looking at past volunteer and leadership experience, years certified, geographical location, areas of practices, and other qualities based on the current needs of the organization.  All interested candidates will be vetted by the Nominating Committee and final interviews will be conducted via video on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Service on the CIDQ Board of Directors is done on a volunteer basis.  CIDQ will reimburse for travel costs related to meeting attendance.  There are four (4) in-person meetings per year; the first three are typically held in Alexandria, VA on the third weekend of the following months: January, April, and July.  The fourth in-person meeting occurs at the conclusion of the Annual Conference, which will be held in Los Angeles, CA in 2020.  There are eight (8) other monthly meetings conducted via conference call; calls are one hour in length.

Before applying, please review the eligibility requirements below.  If you are not sure whether you are eligible or have any additional questions, please contact Kimberly Woods at kwoods@cidq.org.
