Q2 Report from CIDQ President
As we roll into the second quarter of 2025, we reflect on the tremendous success CIDQ has enjoyed under Thom Banks's leadership. Thom has been instrumental in guiding CIDQ through a period of growth and transformation. While we are sad to say goodbye to him as CEO, we are incredibly thankful for his vision, dedication, and contributions to the interior design profession.
Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome Rebecca Moden as CIDQ’s new CEO, who will officially begin her role in May. With her wealth of leadership experience and expertise, Rebecca is poised to lead CIDQ into its next phase of growth, further strengthening our commitment to advancing the interior design profession.
I would like to emphasize the ongoing importance of being an active NCIDQ Certificate holder. As CIDQ continues to advocate in support of reasonable regulation, staying active shows your commitment to protecting the public and allows CIDQ to continue this good work. An active NCIDQ Certification not only affirms your professional credibility but also ensures that you remain equipped with the latest knowledge and best practices. In an ever-evolving field, staying current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements is key to maintaining a competitive edge. Additionally, being an active certificate holder opens doors to new opportunities, reinforces your expertise, and strengthens the value you bring to clients and employers.
CIDQ remains committed to supporting our community of professionals, advocating for the value of the NCIDQ Certification, and providing resources to help our members excel. Together, we continue to build the future of interior design and uphold the standards that define the profession.
